Lt Col. Ph.D., Eng. Artur Prokopiuk
In 1998, he graduated from the Military University of Technology.
He obtained the professional title of Master of Science in the specialty of “optoelectronic devices” at the Faculty of Electronics.
After a year of internship in Żagań, he took up the position of a scientific and teaching assistant at the Institute of Optoelectronics at WAT.
As part of his scientific activities, he focuses on research related to nanotechnology, the use of functional thin films for engineering and medical applications, as well as hybrid coating deposition methods using laser techniques, magnetron sputtering, and chemical vapor deposition.
He has collaborated with research centers in Poland and abroad. He completed short-term internships at the Physical-Technical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences in St. Petersburg, Kansas State University in the USA, the Institute of Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences, the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Québec in Canada, and the Technical Institute in Tokyo.
His scientific output includes several dozen publications in the fields of optoelectronics and materials engineering.
